Romeo & Juliet is an art studio in Brooklyn, Staten Island. The studio is rebranding in 2021, and we thought: what should the new logo and style be? Who could best portray the character of Romeo and Juliet?
William Shakespeare, perhaps? But there's a problem: He died 405 years ago. And not a single manuscript survives after him... almost none.
Symbol & Logotype
The National Library of England holds the original manuscript of the play Sir Thomas More. Its pages 8 and 9 were written by Shakespeare's hand and are the only surviving original manuscripts of the Great Bard.
We used high-resolution scans of these pages and found the letters that made up the logo. Thus, Shakespeare can be fully called the designer of the Romeo and Juliet studio logo.
@romeojulietstudiony corporate identity is built with the use of special dynamic art - two-second looped videos in 4k resolution, the stills of which are suitable for use, including for high-quality printing.

When we start a project, we are completely immersed in its environment and market. We will not offer you a creative solution until we ourselves believe in it, as we believe there can be only one Sun. As you understand, there can’t be two Suns in the sky – that’s why we offer only one option, and we don’t accept changes to the concept (except for details, such as shade or font replacement).
